Stayed here over the new year hols, staff very friendly and helpful, Room was spot on, spacious, clean, quiet & comfortable, Excellent breakfast, plenty of selections, freshly cooked eggs if you want & always something different on offer every day. 5 minute's walk to the DB station & the Harz Mountain railway station.

The staff is SUPER friendly both at the front desk as well as in the breakfast area! The breakfast was fantastic and they provided really tasty scrambled eggs on request. I was also so grateful to the cleaning staff. I left for my day in a hurry one morning so I had everything tossed about in my room. When I got back, everything was completely organized and cleaned up! I was so surprised that someone actually took the time and care to do this :) Oh, and on the days we were there, there was a random firework show in the town that we were able to watch on the back patio. It was a real treat!

Convenient for the railway station and Harz Steam Railway. Very helpful staff. Nice rooms. Very clean. Good choice at breakfast - eggs cooked to order.

They were really kind letting me do my check in earlier. They welcomed me really nicely and the room was clean
