The staff is SUPER friendly both at the front desk as well as in the breakfast area! The breakfast was fantastic and they provided really tasty scrambled eggs on request. I was also so grateful to the cleaning staff. I left for my day in a hurry one morning so I had everything tossed about in my room. When I got back, everything was completely organized and cleaned up! I was so surprised that someone actually took the time and care to do this :) Oh, and on the days we were there, there was a random firework show in the town that we were able to watch on the back patio. It was a real treat!

This is a nice hotel, second time I have stayed here. Friendly welcome and staff all pleasant. I had quite a small room but perfectly adequate and comfortable. Even if you are on the main road side of the hotel the soundproof windows work well. Good breakfast spread, and if you don’t feel like going into town to eat they do a nice pizza! Well placed for the station about 500/600 metres away.

Stayed here over the new year hols, staff very friendly and helpful, Room was spot on, spacious, clean, quiet & comfortable, Excellent breakfast, plenty of selections, freshly cooked eggs if you want & always something different on offer every day. 5 minute's walk to the DB station & the Harz Mountain railway station.

Was a nice comfy hotel, the staff especially Birgit were very helpful and friendly also very knowledgeable about the area and recommended a fantastic Italian restaurant, the breakfast was very good and good value for money.
